I am a PhD student, studying climate science, at Newcastle University and have previously worked in the government for several years in the Environment Agency. I have a first-class masters degree in Environmental Economics from the London School of Economics and a first-class bachelors degree in Geography from the University of Sheffield. I also have A Level qualifications in French, Physics and Maths.
I have taught undergraduate and masters students in Geography and Engineering, as well as climate education outreach work with school children from 8 to 14 years of age.
My teaching approach is to provide the student with the supportive environment required to grow and succeed in their topic, but also enable them to develop skills which they can use later in their academic careers. I will do this by ensuring the student is challenged but also provided with the guidance and materials they need.
