Currently I teach a Year 6 class at leading independent school where my role is to prepare the pupils for entrance and 11+ examinations. Before my current role, I spent five years working in the state sector where I taught a variety of year groups in both key stage 1 and 2.

Tutoring Experience

I have nine years experience as a class teacher in various primary schools both in the state and independent sectors.
I have tutored in person and online for the last seven years supporting children in a variety of ways and in various subjects. The majority of my tutoring experience has been to help students to prepare for entrance exams and 11+. To date, every pupil I have tutored has passed for their first choice school. I can provide references to support this.

Tutoring Approach

I am very friendly and open and my sessions are all child centred. I have a variety of excellent resources to support students with their learning. All my sessions are interactive and involve plenty of child input. If you would like to know more, please feel free to contact me.
