I have taught in both Key Stage 1 and 2 (including both SATs years [Years 2 and 6]) and am currently a Deputy Headteacher in a large primary school in Kent.
I listen to and work with my children, offering a high standard of education using many different techniques to keep the children engaged. I believe that discussion with the children helps me to identify their individual educational needs. This way, I am then able to vary my teaching styles and approaches to meet the specific needs and learning styles of each individual pupil.
If my services match your requirements at all, please do not hesitate to contact me!
Working Monday-Friday with children is a dream job, hence me looking for further opportunities in my spare time to help children who are not in my class achieve their potential too!
As well as Deputy Headteacher, I am also the curriculum leader of the school, making sure that children have access to a wide, varied and engaging curriculum.
As I do in school, I believe that the more simple the approach is, the better the outcomes will be. First, I identify the children's needs and specific learning goals/barriers. Then, through the use of clever planning and teaching approaches, I adapt my teaching to suit the specific child's needs.
