James is an excellent tutor as he is positive and encouraging in his teaching style whilst making sure my son understands what he is being taught. I would also add that the way he teaches definitely builds confidence and interest in English as a subject. I would highly recommend him.

Jim is an excellent tutor,very helpful and very thorough. His feedback at the end of essays and close reading papers helps tutees to discover their strengths and weaknesses. This allows for the tutee to work on their weaknesses for the next week and continuously improve the quality of their answers, which is essential if you want to do well in Higher English. Jim gears his tutoring towards the tutees individual needs and will allow you to focus on particular areas of the course such as close reading analysis questions. If you want a committed, flexible tutor with a cracking sense of humour, I'd choose Jim.
