Masters graduate in a Strategic Studies from the University of St Andrews with experience in Foreign Affairs research developed mainly with a focus on Brazil, China the United States and United Kingdom both London and Washington DC.
Currently working for at the Institute of Export and International Trade a trade body that specialisises in promoting British trade around the world. Previous experience includes working for a Member of Parliament on the Foreign Affairs Committee whereby I assisted on matters related to Ukraine, working at a London-based think tank and the United States government. I also serve in the Royal Naval Reserve.
Whilst at University, I regularly supported peers from younger years with assessments and also revised essays for students. Also helped train military personnel on occasion.
My approach is one of explaining the subject to the student pausing at appropriate points to recap and question/quiz them to see if they have absorbed the information. I also encourage those I teach to be interactive and I’m always open to questions.
