I am practising teacher who has over 18 years experience teaching secondary school. My results have always been outstanding which gives me motivation to do my job with enthusiasm. I am a patient practitioner and my lessons are tailored to meet my learner's needs. I have also been tutoring students for the last 15 years and most of my students have been via recommendation following excellent results. My tuitions are either done online or at the learner's home.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 18 years experience teaching both secondary schools and further colleges. I have been teaching Business Studies, Economics and Geography. I have also been teaching Mathematics to KS4 and KS3. My experience has enabled me to know and understand what examining bodies are looking for in an answer. I am also an assessor of GCSE Business which has enabled me to improve my pass rate in that subject. I also have over 8 years teaching A level Geography and Economics. This makes me a tutor who is flexible and can help my learner become and all rounded citizen. My lessons are interactive and have varied activities to stimulate learning. I liaise with the parents/guardian of the learners to updating them on how their child is performing.

Tutoring Approach

My Philosophy is to tutor my lessons starting from simple to complex skills. Lessons are modelled to the pace of the learner as I believe that it is important for the learners to get what is worth their time and cost. Reinforcement is done by regularly testing my learners and practising how to tuckle exam questions. I strong believe that the success of my students makes me a better practitioner.
