I am in my first year of teaching having completed my PGCE with QTS in September 2022. Since becoming a teacher I have rebuilt my school's KS3 curriculum and run a programming club. Before qualifying as a teacher I worked in a summer school teaching programming to students.
My teaching approach is very flexible depending on my learner. As a new teacher I follow the new guidance focusing around cognitive science and metacognition to ensure the best learning environment for my students
