Hi,
I'm Jack, current student at the University of Manchester where I study Maths.

I have a spirited love for teaching and mathematics, having regularly participated in extra-curricular activities involving maths such as the Senior Mathematics Challenge and British Maths Olympiad at college, as well as engaging in tutoring other students throughout my time in high school and college, where I achieved A*s in Maths and Further Maths.

I am here to help guide you through your studies at GCSE and A-level, as well as for exams like the MAT, STEP and BMO. Whatever your ability and aspirations are, I believe with my experience in the subject and in teaching that I can help you develop a deep understanding for the areas of the subject you find challenging and help you to look at them in a new light that makes more sense to you than the often arduous and difficult task of learning through textbooks.

Tutoring Experience

With many years studying maths at a high level and always pushing myself into the realm of the unknown in terms of problem solving, I believe I can help bring a new perspective to the areas of maths that you find challenging, helping you to think about them in a way that both makes the most sense to you and gives you a deep understanding of the content.

I also have experience tutoring my peers throughout high school and college as I studied Maths around 3 years above my grade level throughout this time.

Tutoring Approach

I am flexible with my lesson times and teaching styles, I will let you be the guide based on what works best for you, but I will also help you think about things in a new way and discover better methods for learning and understanding maths at all levels.
