I’m a recent English Literature with Creative Writing graduate from the University of Warwick, where I also worked as a student ambassador and mentor. I’ve always been passionate about helping others find confidence in their written and spoken communication, and I love creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves. With experience in both academic and creative writing, I aim to help learners not just succeed in exams but also develop a lifelong appreciation for language and literature.
I have over three years of tutoring experience, supporting GCSE, 11+, 13+, and A-Level students with English Language and Literature. I currently tutor with platforms such as TutorFromHome and Kickstart Education, where I’ve helped students improve their analytical writing, exam technique, and confidence. I’ve also worked as a peer mentor during university and gained communication skills through roles in education, sales, and media—including internships at Channel 4 and The Sun. My academic work abroad at Augsburg University, USA, further strengthened my communication and teaching skills.
My approach is student-focused, adaptable, and encouraging. I believe in building strong foundational skills while also challenging students to think critically and independently. I tailor each lesson to the individual learner’s needs, using a mix of guided practice, clear explanations, and engaging activities. Whether it's working through poetry analysis, essay planning, or creative writing, I make sure my students understand both the content and the skills behind it—so they can apply what they learn with confidence.
