Online Maths and Physics Tuition

Hi there!
I am a medic at UCL who has just finished their 2nd year. I am now currently doing my iBsc, bachelorate of sciences, where I am studying biomedical engineering and medical physics.

If you are wondering whether I am fit to tutor, my grades hopefully reflect this (although it is not just about the grades).
I received: 6 9s and 3 8s at GCSE, then went onto A-Level where I received 4 A*s.
I was not always getting these grades though, in primary and the start of secondary school I was receiving Ds, Cs and Bs. This helped me understand what you need to get good grades from a poor start and to help others as well.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught for nearly two years now on other teaching websites where over a recurring base of around 7 tutees I received an average 5-star review. I came on this app as I saw it as the best opportunity to help the most tutees whilst also keeping the quality of learning high.

In addition, I achieved a distinction in grade 8 public speaking which has helped me communicate and will help me express ideas to the tutees.

Tutoring Approach

I like to first present an idea. See where the student is at with the concept. Then discuss the idea to the level it needs to be at. Approach harder questions if they can handle them. Helping them in the process understand the mechanics of harder questions.
It is all well and good to understand the concepts but in science-based subjects, it is extremely important to get the practice in.
