I am a recent graduate with a First-Class Bachelor's in English and Comparative Literature. I have A Levels in English Literature, Psychology and Geography gaining A*A*A respectively.

I am enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and am currently undertaking a TEFL course with the hopes of pursuing education even further! I hope to be able to work with students to help improve respective areas of English as a segue to their own educational independence and confidence.

Tutoring Experience

I have completed multiple work experience placements in schools. My duties included helping teachers create lesson plans and also assisting during lessons. I would also have 1 to 1 time with students helping with reading comprehensions.

Currently I am learning through my TEFL course various styles of teaching which I hope to implement during my classes, making them accessible regardless of ability.

Tutoring Approach

Most importantly I want to get to know each student’s interests and needs. From this I will adapt activities in the lesson using the areas that require improvement, while also making them of interest to the students.

I hope to create an engaging environment for students and one where they each feel they have a space to grow and learn respectively.
