Hello my name is Iqra. I want to give other students the chance to achieve their goals and succeed and this may be through providing a little support. Every student has potential and I enjoy assisting students in achieving their targets. I provide online tutoring and in person tutoring.

It has not been long since I completed my GCSEs and A levels so I understand what academic challenges students face and how to overcome them. I can use my experience of education and exams to help students face their toughest academic challenges. I can provide guidance on other aspects of learning such as revision techniques as well as the content of the curriculum. Having completed A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics makes me perfect for tutoring GCSE Biology, GCSE Maths, GCSE chemistry and GCSE Physics as I am passionate about these subjects. I am also able to tutor KS3. I may also be able to assist with the A levels I have mentioned above upon request

Tutoring Approach

I aim to help students by making a checklist of the current curriculum. Students may wish to focus on certain aspects of the curriculum which they find more challenging therefore more time would be spent on these aspects. I would give the student a chance to go over the content of a chosen topic in their own time which would be part of their homework. During the tutoring session the student is able to discuss the content and ask questions. I would provide resources such as revision questions and exam questions to test the students knowledge. The student is also able to practice their exam technique which in my experience can be a challenge for many students. The questions are marked and feedback given to the student. The student can ask for help whilst answering these questions and other guidance such as exam technique would also be provided. I believe the best way for a student to revise is to do exam questions therefore I will be completing exam questions with the student. I may also provide extra questions for homework.
