Imogen

I graduated with a 2:1 degree in Classics (with Latin and Greek) from the University of Durham in 1996.
In 1998, I completed my PGCE in Classics/Latin at the University of Cambridge
I also have 'A' grades in A-level Latin and History, plus grade 'B' grades in Ancient Greek and Biology.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught Latin and Classical Civilisation for 20 years in schools and am currently head of a Classics department in an independent school. I have had much success in helping students of a range of abilities achieve excellent results at A level and GCSE in Latin and Classical Civilisation (including plenty of A*s and Grade 9s).

Tutoring Approach

As a qualified and experienced teacher, I am very familiar with GCSE and A Level courses and can help students with covering new topics, consolidating work, exam techniques and revision strategies. I am friendly, approachable and can adapt resources to suit individual students.
