A born teacher with valuable experience in both secondary school and university job positions abroad. Adept in teaching GCSE Mathematics, Advanced Level Mathematics and Electrical/Electronic Engineering courses. Currently applying for a LeveI 5 Diploma in Education and Training as part of my efforts to obtain a UK Qualified Teacher Status. I derive great joy in providing students with academic and pastoral support in order to realize their full potentials.

Tutoring Experience

• Delivered lectures and examined undergraduate students on Engineering courses such as The Fundamentals of Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Basic Engineering Materials, Signals/Systems Analysis, Linear Systems, Digital Electronics, Digital Signal Processing and Operational Amplifiers
• Taught and examined JUPEB (Cambridge A Level) students on the subject of Calculus
• Organized tutorial sessions in Mathematics for undergraduates and High School students
• Provided academic and pastoral support to students as a level adviser
• Served as an active member of a departmental Curriculum Development Committee
• Drafted and graded quizzes, assignments and examinations to evaluate students’ performances
• Mentored students along their respective career paths

Tutoring Approach

I create a great interpersonal relationship with my students to determine their areas of strengths/weaknesses, adopt learning support techniques to suit their specific needs, encourage them to ask questions thereby building up their confidence levels and engage them with exercises/assignments to evaluate improvements.
