Ian

I am full-time fine art marble sculptor and member of the Royal Society of Sculptors and have exhibited in Albemarle and Cork Street, London and the Rive Gauche, Paris. I have collectors in Europe, New York and Aukland and my public sculptures can be seen on the Isle of Wight and in Slough, Berkshire. I have worked in studios, foundries and marble yards in Tuscany.

Tutoring Experience

I have many years experience of teaching at all levels, from primary school to secondary school to private tutoring at A level. I have lead workshops for MENCAP, and conducted lectures for adults. My students have achieved excellent academic results and have been inspired to further their studies.

Tutoring Approach

After an informal first session with the tutee, we will establish goals, expectations and a specifically tailored work plan. Whether the requirements are academic, informal, therapeutic or other, I will nurture each individual's unique qualities to get the very best out of them artistically and creatively. Sessions will be inspiring, relaxed yet focussed.
