Huw's Feedback

My son found Huw very helpful. He has only had one tuition so far but came away feeling positive and happy to return. I found Huw to be friendly and quick to respond.

Huw has been an excellent tutor and has really supported my son over the last two years of both his Economics and Business A levels. Huw has helped him improve understanding of the subjects by explaining the concepts well and really improve his exam technique through regularly marking his essays and providing feedback. My son obtained 3 A's and an A* in his A levels and met his firm offer and will now go to Warwick University (WBS) to study BSc Management.
I would highly recommend Huw as an excellent tutor for Business and Economics AS and A levels.

I contacted Huw as our son had requested extra tuition as a final “push” in economics for his A levels, he wasn’t going on holiday this summer so thought he may as well use this time to put in a bit extra… after only the first hour he was singing Huw’s praises! He was most impressed and told me that in only an hour he had completely covered and learnt globalisation (which he hasn’t covered at school yet) and that Huw was, and I quote, worth every penny! High praise indeed from a 17 year old!
What’s fantastic about Huw is that he’s currently head of economics in 6th form and so obviously knows the syllabus inside out, plus he’s been teaching for 30+ years! And… he’s a really nice guy on top of al that. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Huw if your son/daughter is needing a bit of extra help or if they just want to boost their grades and get THE most out of the subject.

Huw is an outstanding tutor. After just one session with Huw, my daughter had increased understanding and felt more confident about her Business A level. I don't have details of the lessons themselves so cant comment further except to say Jagger says he get along well with Huw and Huws tutoring has helped him in certain areas so far.

Totally engaged my son who was struggling to engage with the subject at school. Keeps teaching learner centred and focuses on areas of need.

My daughter was struggling in her A level economics course and was seriously thinking of giving it up. We enlisted Huw's help and within one session she was already understanding economics a lot better. More importantly she was happy at school again with the knowledge that if there was anything she didn't understand, Huw could help. Huw is a charming man, very patient and very clear in his teaching and communicates with students on their wavelenght. We would wholeheartedly recommend him as an economics tutor.
