I am an experienced, patient and adaptable ESL (English as a second language) and Spanish teacher. I have taught in the UK, Italy, Spain and online to adults as well as children.

I hold a degree in Linguistics and Spanish specialising in bilingualism, cognition and sociolinguistics.

My knowledge of language acquisition and bilingualism, along with my teaching experience, provide me with an acute awareness for the most beneficial ways to learn a language. Seeing progress and enjoyment in a learner motivates me to be the best teacher for my students.

I love the reward of teaching and the cultural exchange really inspires me, I am a creative teacher and I tailor lessons to suit the students' needs and interests. I have a knowledge of excellent resources to help get the most out my lessons, including language area specific resources to improve competence in grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and listening/reading comprehension.
