Hrushil

Hi, I am Hrushil an 18 year old student who has completed A-level examinations in Mathematics, Economics, Physics and AS-level Further Mathematics and is awaiting for the results. I am an Undergraduate at Loughborough University to study Mechanical Engineering. I studied at Wallington Country Grammar School from year 7 to year 13. I have advanced skills in mathematics and english as I have achieved high grades in GCSE. I am enthusiastic and passionate about teaching as I love to do so.

Tutoring Experience

I was a maths mentor in year 12 at Wallington County Grammar School where I focused on coaching and tutoring felllow studnts from the junior school and year 12. I was able to help the mathematical skills.
I was also a tutor at Kumon Purley where I was trained in recording and setting students work for the following weeks using my own knowledge of their skill set.
I had to be able to suitably change a students work to either give them more practice or advance their progess if needed using my own initiative. I tutored children of all ages, teaching maths and english of the whole spectrum. Maths I taught from counting numbers to algebra. English, I taught from phonics to advanced comprehension.

Tutoring Approach

In our first meeting, we will converse and discover what areas of their subject they need more mentoring and guidance on, what the students wishes to achieve in our sessions, where they want to be in their subjects by the end of term or the end of their journey.
In our regular sessions, we will go through the topic in depth and I will provide mentoring on methods and useful techniques. We will follow with some questions to strengthen their knowledge. These will be from past papers or customised questions. Dependant on how the students is understanding the subject, there may be some light homework to allow them to practice.
