¡Hola! Bonjour! I live in Manchester and I teach French and Spanish full time in a North West Secondary School. I have lived in both France and Spain and I love to find creative ways to share my genuine enthusiasm for languages and cultures with my students.

Tutoring Experience

I graduated with a First in Modern Languages from Newcastle University in 2016. I worked for 5 years in International Digital Marketing using my languages, I then decided to study for a PGCE at the University of Manchester during the pandemic after seeing how vital teachers were on the 'front line'. I have lived in France and Spain, and I feel very passionate about promoting language uptake and cultural awareness in education in the U.K. I teach both KS3 and KS4 curricula.

Tutoring Approach

I endeavour to share my love of languages with my pupils by creating tailored and engaging lessons to promote a cultural and linguistic appetite. I achieve this through regular Assessments for Learning opportunities (low-stakes quizzes, competitive games) and summative assessments.
