Hi I'm Holly :)

With 5 years of previous experience as a Year 5 school teacher, I now work as a freelance writer and editor in Bristol (based in Easton).

Teaching was always my passion so I’d like to offer again online tutor sessions to help young people with the skills they need to access their education. Entry exams into some of the best schools are tricky but with the right guidance, your child will sail through them feeling confident and ready to start their journey in the best set.

I can provide my qualifications and a full, up-to-date DBS certificate.

Tutoring Experience

Outside of school, you'll often find me trail running with my ever-energetic dog, Peggy. I also have a heartfelt passion for writing, ranging from crafting short stories to supporting small businesses with their online content needs.

My lessons are dynamic, fun and carefully structured around the gaps in your child’s learning. The aim is to reach the end of that lesson with your child feeling confident and proud that they’ve reached a new milestone in their learning.

My teaching style is adaptive which means that I’m always sensitive to differing learning needs and will plan my lessons to make my students feel comfortable and keen to engage.
