Hey everyone ! I’m Hesham, an experienced Biology and Chemistry tutor for GCSE and A-level based in Leeds, UK. I’m a licensed medical doctor and hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with distinction. I have been tutoring GCSE and A-level students online and in person for the last 3 years with exceptional feedback from my students.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is Interactive and engaging yet exam centered. I prepare for ALL my lessons thoroughly and utilize all learning resources from diagrams to videos to Past papers. My lessons are topic oriented which means I dive deep into a specific topic per lesson.I usually structure my lessons in a way that half of the time is spent explaining concepts in detail and allowing the student to explain what they have understood in their own words. The other half is spent in past paper revision. I will guide you step by step and teach you how to approach different types of past paper questions. I always handpick 2-4 past paper questions related to the topic discussed and give it as homework to encourage the student to practice what we discussed in their own time.
