Hi, my name is Helen! I am a student at Imperial College London studying Computer Science. I would love to tutor A level Mathematics/Further Mathematics, and GCSE mathematics. I was lucky enough to have great teachers for my subjects - in a way, it has dictated the subjects I am doing now. I will do my best to make sure you have a good experience too!
I took part in Academic Mentoring at my Secondary School. This was a voluntary experience to tutor younger students in subjects they needed help in. I specialised in tutoring for GCSE level Maths, Physics and Mandarin. Additionally, I tutored my sister in GCSE mathematics for a year.
Making sure you understand is my biggest priority. Before my lessons I like to discuss what topics you would like help with, so that I can prepare content for the lesson.
I will take you through the steps behind a particular topic. I am also happy to go through homework questions and any other problems you have. Additionally, I will help you with exam preparation.
