I am a fully qualified teacher and also hold a post graduate diploma in Specific learning difficulties/dyslexia. I have been teaching since 1993. I teach from home and in local schools. I am comfortable teaching children of all abilities. I offer entrance exam tuition and have many parents happy to provide references if required.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching since 1993 however in 2007 I decided to tutor privately and joined a local teaching agency, I then started teaching from my home. Over the course of a few years I encountered more and more children with a specific learning difficulty or dyslexia and so in 2013 I gained a post graduate diploma in SpLD/Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. This has provided me with the knowledge and training to be able to teach children who are specifically struggling with literacy or numeracy. I teach children of all abilites and can help them to improve SATS levels and gain entrance into private schools.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is to view each child as completely individual, one method does not suit all. I use a multisensory approach and have a calm friendly manner.
