I am a former Head of Science in an Ofsted ranked outstanding Science department and I am currently working part-time while my three children are young.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive experience of teaching all sciences from year 7 -11, both Chemistry and Biology to A-Level, having taught for over 15 years in London, in an OFSTED rated outstanding school including 5 years as Head of Department. I offer GCSE tutoring for Combined Science and Biology and Chemistry Single Science as well as Chemistry A-Level. I have supported students with a range of abilities; from those struggling to pass to those who have gone on to study Medicine, Dentistry and Engineering.

Tutoring Approach

I am passionate about Science and like to relate concepts to real world ideas while also embedding the required exam knowledge. I focus on decoding and deconstructing exam questions to ensure students can tackle exam papers confidently.
