Harvey

Hi, my name's Harvey, I am 18 and currently studying Mathematics and Economics in my first year at the University of Sheffield. I am happy to teach both GCSE and A level mathematics.

Tutoring Experience

I currently tutor a A-Level student privately once a week.

Tutoring Approach

I like to split my sessions up accordingly:
~10 % Reminder / warm up task
~40-50 % Teaching with integrated and interactive questions throughout
~30-40% Practice questions

I found this split-up of the session works the best for my current student and helps with learning. Included in this time I can answer questions, easily and flexibly change topics to cater to students needs.

I like to priorities topics that students find difficulty and topics they are currently being taught in school to help there engagement with the topic for an exponentially increased likely of remembering the content.
