I am a hardworking and patient university graduate, who believes in the importance of education in order to boost opportunities and social mobility. Having graduated university with a first class degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics, I believe education is important to equip students with the necessary tools to progress in their academic and personal careers.
During school I achieved 6A*s and 5As at GCSE, I also completed A-levels in Geography, History, Philosophy & Ethics and Biology.
I have enriched my academic career through German language exchange programmes and a strong involvement in sports.
In my graduate job as a think tank researcher, I gathered data on UK wages in order to calling for the importance of a fairer economy, campaigning against growing economic inequality.

Tutoring Experience

I have always valued the importance of education in creating opportunities for young people. For this reason, I have held many roles where I have been responsible for mentoring younger students and supporting the academic development. I have three years of online tutoring experience, which I have maintained alongside my job. I have taught a range of ages, from primary schools and SATS, to university level.

Tutoring Approach

I believe in fostering an ability to solve problems through processes and critical analysis. Whilst I will help young people gain technical understanding, I will encourage students to think about how to deploy their knowledge in a range of contexts.
I focus my teaching on past examinations papers and other relevant problem sets. I want to bolster grades as well as understanding. I am familiar with all exam boards, and the new specifications.
I use online platforms to deliver my teaching.
