Mohammad Haroon

I teach at Tiffin Boys school in Kingston and have also been tutoring privately. I've been teaching there for the last 14 plus years.
Prior to my career in teaching i was a management consultant at Accenture.

Tutoring Experience

I have 17 years experience teaching Mathematics in state schools in the UK. I have taught across key stage 3, GCSE and A Level, up to and including A Level Further Maths.
My specialism is Mechanics, due to my iwn background.

Tutoring Approach

My approach, since the pandemic, has moved to online remote tutoring using video conference software. With a combination of face to face teaching, written explanations, and information slides plus animations, I ensure the student has a full understanding before moving on to the next point.
I am flexible and adapt to the students needs. Sometimes it's helping with homework, sometimes it's consolidation of class work, or prep for a test. I ask the student what they need and proceed from there. I sometimes do set tasks to be completed for homework, but this depends on the students commitments from school, which must come first.
