Haris

Hello! My name is Haris Ajaz, I’m a 21 year old medical student who has recently completed and passed his 3rd year of medical school.
I don't fit the typical stereotype of a medical student as I always have time to make sure I enjoy the things I love and have a passion for. These things include boxing and jui-jitsu and spending quality time with friends and family.
To achieve this I have developed a learning style which adheres to my needs and allows me to actively recall my knowledge in examinations.

Tutoring Experience

Within my arsenal of teaching I have attained a broad spectrum of experience from the type of students I have interacted with.
This summer I have volunteered at a local nursery that is the only one which has been granted outstanding by Ofsted! This summer I interacted with young children who are developing at a rapid rate and need constant nurturing and stimuli. I created and participated in different activities which stimulated their cognitive learning and kept them interested and occupied whilst also learning which was the main key purpose of the activities.
Furthermore I have volunteered to help teach students in my local area who have been revising for their science GCSE’s. This was very interesting for me as I am a now 4th year medical student and this is my passion therefore I am now able to radiate that positive energy and hopefully inspire the next generation of students progressing into the field of healthcare.

Tutoring Approach

I would describe my teaching approach as pro active. I myself am a visual learner I don’t enjoy too many words I have to incorporate diagrams and pictures which helps me associate knowledge with key visual stimuli in my mind. I apply this style of learning when I have to actively recalling very important knowledge in my medical school speaking oral and theory based written exams.
