I have a joint honours degree in French and Italian. I am passionate about languages and love to travel so that I may use my languages as much as possible. I have lived in both France and Italy. Having taught in North London for 14 years, I have just moved to Bristol with my young family.
I have taught in two highly academic independent schools in London, including having been Head of French for 6 years before I had children. I now live and teach in Clifton, Bristol. I teach French and Italian to 10-18 year olds with experience in teaching A Level, IB and Pre-U qualifications at sixth form level as well as the IGCSE and GCSE courses. I also teach German at Key Stage 3.
I like to assess the needs of each individual tutee before commencing and then will tailor my lessons to best support their needs. I lay great importance on the understanding and manipulation of grammar but also want to ensure that my tutee's confidence is boosted by working on their pronunciation and fluency through plenty of speaking. I have a calm and supportive approach to tutoring whilst being thorough and meticulous.
