Hi I’m Hannah! I’m a current undergraduate student at the University of Cambridge, studying French and Italian. I am very passionate about languages and I hope to help you reach your own language goals through personal, interactive, welcoming tutoring sessions tailored specifically to you!

Tutoring Experience

I have experience volunteering as a teaching assistant in English lessons during my time at sixth form. I found this very rewarding and fulfilling, particularly when a student is able to progress as a direct consequence of your input. Additionally, I spent a month teaching English as a foreign language to young students (aged 5-12) in Austria during the summer. This has truly enhanced my ability to teach confidently as well as to cement my comprehension of integral grammatical structures.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to teaching is to make the sessions as welcoming, positive and engaging as possible. I feel that only by encouraging students to try (even if they make mistakes) that true progress can be attained. Also, it is integral to relate the content to student’s interests to enhance engagement and ensure motivation is maintained throughout.
