I am offering online lessons for 11+ exam preparation and primary Maths and English. I have 4 years of experience in tutoring in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. I am a third year dental student at King’s College London.

Tutoring Experience

Combining my knowledge as a tutor and a past student at The Latymer School, I have personally developed and taught various exam techniques and shared extensive knowledge with students. I also took 11+ exams (2010) for other schools such as Dame Alice Owen’s, Henrietta Barnet, North London Collegiate School and Haberdasher’s Aske Girls’ School.

I have experience in group and one-to-one tutoring. I have worked with students of all years from Year 1 to Y10 as well as varying academic abilities and I am able to adapt to the requirements and level of the student based on teaching style and work set. I have tutored several students going for both independent and grammar schools.

I have also received 11A*/A at GCSE (with A*’s in both English Literature, Language and Maths) and A*AB at A-Level.

Tutoring Approach

I am very familiar with the 11+ exam styles with my specialities being in improving exam technique and all aspects of creative writing and comprehension. This has been largely successful and has almost instantly improved students’ writing styles and thought processes when it comes to approaching different types of text and creative writing titles.
