Hello! I am a British qualified Primary school teacher that has just returned from working in UAE for 6 years. I have also previously taught in Spain for 5 years and the UK for 3 years. I have taught both English as a foreign language (CELTA qualified) and the British National Curriculum (PGCE qualified).

Tutoring Experience

I have taught at numerous schools teaching English as a foreign language in Italy, Spain, Ukraine and London. I have had the experience of teaching all different levels and abilities to students of all ages.

I have also had experience (post- PGCE) teaching the British Curriculum to Year 4 and Year 5. Therefore, I am familiar not only with the demands of external exams such as SATS but also general one to one support with homework and difficulties with school subjects.

I have tutored many students in the past, from GCSE, SATS boosters in English and Maths and A level subjects to students who have special needs such as dyslexia and EAL.

Tutoring Approach

With my years of experience of teaching students from a range of backgrounds and ages, I am able to offer a tailored and dynamic approach to sessions to suit the learner's personality and specific learning style. I will scaffold a learner's needs that will guarantee a successful outcome. I am very patient and supportive person and it is so rewarding to see my pupils make good progress and to see a learner's confidence grow.
