My name is Hannah, I live in Scotland and I have been tutoring for 8 years. My specialities are maths and physics but I can also tutor other sciences and have even had some experience tutoring music!

Tutoring Experience

I have two years of classroom teaching experience where I taught from S1 through to Higher in Maths and Physics, as well as S1 and S2 Biology and Chemistry.
I have eight years of tutoring experience. I have tutored young people from primary school right the way through to university level. I have done one to one tutoring and worked with small groups, both in person and online.
I also have extensive experience working with children and young people with a variety off additional support needs, particularly ASD and ADHD

Tutoring Approach

I have an inquiry based approach to teaching, rather than giving young people all the answers I try to enable them to figure out answers for themselves, demonstrating to them how to learn well, how to study well, and how to show your learning well.
I want to instill in my students a positive attitude towards learning and confidence in their own abilities to learn and discover
