Halema

I have worked with young people, pupils and young adults for over 10 years to educate, inspire and motivate. I believe myself to be a well rounded individual who engages well with others. I have worked in various fields from fashion to charity work, as a teacher abroad, an Academic and Employment Coach and i am currently a Maths teacher in a Secondary school. My other cool job is being a Mother.

Tutoring Experience

• Project Manager for a 10 - week employment programme working with 16 - 24 year olds
• Academic Coach and Mentor - working with pupils in schools who lack confidence / are disadvantaged. Holding this relationship from age 14 - 19.
• Secondary School Maths teacher - teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths
• Private Maths Tutor - have been teaching Maths privately, both online and in person for 15+ years. Teaching maths as well as setting goals and achieving targets with my coaching experience.

Tutoring Approach

Paired with my extensive subject knowledge of Maths is my Coaching and Mentoring experience and my aim is to overcome obstacles and build confidence in learners.
