Tutor and mentor offering support in Mathematics, Biology, and German.
Currently studying BSc neuroscience at the University of Leicester, and open to support students between their secondary and up to their A-Levels.

Tutoring Experience

I provided peer-to-peer tutoring for 1 year in the subjects Mathematics and Biology via the program "Better Together", working with student and parent to achieve optimal academic results (mainly secondary students between 12 and 16 years old).
I am a native German speaker thus providing native-level expertise to tutees.
Additionally pursued mentoring training in the UoL, providing me with expertise in areas of academia, studies, and guidance.

Tutoring Approach

1st stage: Explanation of systems and rules, creating an understanding of the topic
2nd stage: Practice problems with support and guidance
3rd stage: Short formative test to check level of understanding
In general open to a flexible teaching approach with modifications where necessary.
