Rayan is a personable and thoughtful student.

He is learning to craft sentences and paragraphs more carefully giving priority to sound word choices, syntax and essay structure to maximise the impact of his writing.

If he manages to maintain this progress he stands a better chance of doing himself justice in his GCSE English exams.

It's a privilege to work with a student like Mason. He is bright and curious with well-advanced social skills and a fantastic appetite for life.

Additionally, he has an emerging talent for expressing himself in writing in clear and precise sentences and paragraphs that guarantee he will have an impact.

Teachers recognise potential and talent when they encounter them in their students and Mason has both in abundance!

Aadya tries hard during lessons and conscientiously completes homework.

Her Maths skills are improving each week and in English she has already finished reading and answering questions on a full text.

Even more impressive is the eagerness with which she undertakes research.

If she can sustain this level of enthusiasm and motivation, Aadya will do well.

Umar is a conscientious and personable student.

He is working on improving his essay technique so as to effect a sharper focus on the question.

Once he has mastered this - he will be in a better position to achieve his full potential in Language and Literature.

Oliver is a conscientious and thoughtful student.

Once he gets to grip with essay technique and expresses his ideas clearly and logically in a structured way he will be able to make a strong impact.

Hopefully, Mohammed will use any time he gets between now and his re-sit to practise processing and responding to the range of English texts he encounters.

Ozan is making sound progress with his reading and grammar. He is an attentive and conscientious student.

Ben's output is starting to gain increased momentum.

If he starts to turn out a substantial piece of writing in Language and Literature each week he will gain in confidence and be in a stronger position to fulfill his potential when he sits GCSE.

It is a pleasure to work with students with high academic potential like Octavian. He is already making sound progress in his ability to write coherent paragraphs.

If he develops more consistent study habits and organisation and shows more inclination to conduct his own research he will come much closer to reaching his full potential.

It's been a pleasure to start with a student who is so keen to make progress.

Caden is a mature and thoughtful student. If he can commit to submitting a substantial proof-read and edited piece of writing each week, he is capable of achieving good GCSE results.

Isabel and Joey are confident, personable and well-motivated pupils who are a credit to their parents.

To date, their commitment to make progress in English and complete the work necessary has been highly commendable.

Jesse is keen to improve his writing skills. I am impressed with the way he conscientiously completes assignments each week.

Jesse is now becoming increasingly aware of the need to process information and turn it over in his mind so that he can then compose an insightful written response.

Although he has yet to reach the CE level of written English he needs - there are problems with punctuation and syntax that need ironing out - with more attention to proof-reading and editing his writing, I think he will ultimately achieve a good standard. He will then come to appreciate the feeling of achievement that comes from being able to produce consistently polished and thoughtful writing.

If Jesse can maintain his commitment and with the encouragement of his supportive parents behind him, he will soon be on course to fulfill his undoubted potential.

BTW it's great to work with parents who appreciate the tutor's efforts to get results!

Blessed is a keen and vivacious student.

If he can show the necessary self-discipline and maturity to apply himself consistently - there is no reason why he shouldn't be able to progress quickly.

He will need to complete reading and writing assignments between lessons and send them for feedback in order to maximise the benefits he can derive from tuition.

William is now regularly completing weekly reading assignments. He needs to bring the same level of commitment to completing grammar and language homework as well.

With more sustained concentration and self-discipline, William's comprehension and fluency in written English will ultimately reach a good standard.

Dawn's written English improved steadily over the year.

She completed some high quality written assignments including an Amazon book review.

I think the standard of her written English will now make a good impression on any prospective employer.

Luke is an intelligent pupil who is already thinking and writing to a good standard.

I am sure he will thrive and make sound progress in both English and History.

Martin is a very supportive parent who ensures that his son submits at least two written assignments per week.

Martin's son, Nathan, is a mature and conscientious student who has a clear idea about how he wants to improve the quality of his output.

His study habits and organisation are sound and once he gets into the habit of planning the structure of his answers and editing and proof-reading his writing for grammar and fluency, he should be able to achieve worthwhile grades in both GCSE English and History.

Oskar is a mature and capable student who applies himself consistently and with a strong determination to improve his written English.

He understands the importance of making the right word choices, managing syntax and writing in coherent paragraphs.

With wide reading and sustained effort, Oskar will ultimately each his goal and do himself justice in his GCSE and A level exams.

Roisin is a capable and conscientious student.

She manages her material and structures her essays well.

With wider reading to develop her ideas and increased clarity and fluency in her writing she should achieve a good grade.

Adam has already made great strides in his Literature essay writing and has already produced two convincing character studies.

If he can develop an aptitude for reading more widely and consistently to develop his range of vocabulary, knowledge and understanding he will certainly increase his chances of achieving a worthwhile GCSE grade.

With sustained application, study habits and organisation, Radiyah can improve her fluency in English.

As long as she reads regularly, builds her vocabulary, and applies logical thinking and structure to her writing, I think she can do well.

Radiyah is very personable and willing to take on new ideas. These are key attributes for success in life.

Diane is a personable and well organised student.

With sound study habits and a commitment to complete a new writing project each week, she could do well in this subject (History).

Cameron has made great strides with his English essay writing. His writing is well structured and he makes a solid effort to deliver an analytical and insightful response.

If he makes a real effort to submit a written Language/Literature piece on a weekly basis, Cameron can do well in both subjects.

David is a conscientious and thoughtful student.

If he maintains sound reading and study habits and develops his prose style, David can reach a good standard.

Rachel is a cheerful, confident student who is keen to do well.

I think she has the intellectual application and stamina to perform strongly in English if she puts her mind to it.

With closer reading and more clarity and conciseness in her writing she will be able do herself justice in her GCSEs.

Matthew writes with a clear prose style and sound structure. He is also receptive to new ideas.

With consistent application and wider reading, he can do well.

Samara is a conscientious and enthusiastic pupil.

Once she has mastered the basics and grown in confidence, she will do well.

I am very pleased that Henry has achieved an improved grade in his AS History exam.

Henry is a personable student with a lively interest in History. He asks the right questions and posesses strong perceptive thinking skills. Once he has harnessed these thinking skillls to building up his writing skills he can make further progress in this subject.
