We have only had two sessions with Gull so far, but I have found him very helpful and easy to communicate with, and my daughter reports that she is enjoying the sessions and expects them to be helpful.

Gull is very punctual, he is a good tutor, my son is more confident now with his maths.

Gull was a great tutor for my son who got both Maths and Economics tuition (GCSE and A level) from him. He explains complex concepts in a simple and effective manner. He also puts great emphasis on proper exam technique which is often overlooked by a lot of schools. My son was particularly weak at both maths and economics when Gull first started doing lessons with him and by the end he managed to secure an A* in Economics and an A in maths. I would recommend him to any other parent no matter what level of academic ability their child is at as Gull will adapt his teaching to fit their needs.

Gull has been helping my son who is at the end of his Year 1 economics course at university. He has been helping him with online lessons in economics and statistics to plug the gaps in his understanding. As a parent, I liked Gull's approach that he first made sure that he was able to help my son by asking me to first send the details of his modules, rather than just claim that he could help. Gull is an excellent Maths tutor for A level. We started only a month before exams and we have gotten through a lot of content in a short space of time efficiently. He explains topics very clearly and encourages you to do the questions with your initiative first. He is very flexible to help you with any topic short notice and has broad knowledge of the exam boards and what typically is assessed. I would highly recommend him!

After a few lessons my son have with Gull during Xmas time , he felt much confident in the school. We will definitely continue to have lessons with Gull this year for the GCSE preparations. Highly recommend!

Gull was absolutely amazing. My little sister started with him 6 months before her GCSE exams and she was on a 6 for maths and 6/7 in science. She has recently graduated with a 8 in Science and a 7 in maths (3 marks off a 8) - an overall GPA of 7.8. She had a health scare which meant she could not study for a month 3 months out from the exams but still Gull pulled through for us. We had all of our classes online and there was no issue. Gull gives great feedback to the whole family, is very organised and is good with instilling discipline.

Gull has been a superb tutor and his method of teaching is very interactive and understanding. If there was an issue with anything Gull would go through in depth on how to do it and also made sure you understood everything before moving on.

It’s only been a few weeks but already grades have improved as has confidence levels. Very few maths teachers can actually teach maths - simply being good at it themselves doesn’t translate to understanding how to teach it. Gull can teach maths - and being online has not been a barrier to learning.

I cannot recommend Gull enough. He is the best tutor I ever had. I contacted him to help me with the maths side of my Economics degree. He has been my tutor since the beginning of the academic year and his help was crucial for me this year. I personally believe he teaches better than my lecturers and puts all his effort to ensure that I always understand the topic of study. He has a lot of patience which is crucial for people like me who take a little more time to process mathematics and always has examples or cases to simplify and help me understand the most complex topics. However, my favourite thing about Gull is how available he is for extra help or unexpected emergencies. Gull is an excellent economics tutor. Really improved my overall understanding of the subject both for the exam and economics in the real world. I was particularly impressed with the ease at which he would be able to explain key concepts in ways I could understand. He’s a very flexible and accommodating tutor who is very responsive to any queries and the online lessons were very engaging which is normally quite rare among other online lessons. I had Gull for a year to tutor me in maths. I cannot recommend him enough. I used to find maths so difficult and tiresome before he taught me. He made sure I understood every concept, small or big, and allowed me to engage well with the course material. I don’t think I’ve find a maths teacher who teaches as well as him before.

Since Gul started tutoring my son for A level Economics, there has been a huge improvement in his grades. Gul has been very flexible with requests. Gull was Godsend to us!!! Thanks to him our daughter got an A in her GCSE MATHS last year 2018. She could not have done this without him and his hard work. The whole family feel so privileged to have met him. After having been messed up by two private tutors with hardly any support from the school, we are so pleased Gull agreed to tutor her despite the fact that she was about to write the GCSE exams. Gull’s Maths “crush programme” style with her, to ensure she covered as much content as possible within that short period of time he tutored her before the GCSE exams, is out of this world….and yes that crush programme worked immensely, she got an A in Maths, which we never expected. Throughout that short period Gull tutored our daughter, he was very professional, very reliable, always punctual, well prepared, well planned for lessons, patient, extremely knowledgeable, very supportive and had this great gentle approach to teaching while being extremely effective. He advised her and us on which resources to use and gave her loads and loads of homework which she had to complete and be ready to be discussed beginning of the next lesson. I have just completed my GCSE's and i had Mr Gull tutoring me for maths when i i first had a lesson with him i was working at a low grade 5 in a matter of a month i was a grade 6. This immediate progress was all down to his teachings and short and quick methods for each topic. I felt his methods were clear and easy to understand and they were quick. Also Mr Gull helped me get into regular routine of completing maths papers which helped as every lesson he would go though where i lost marks and helping me to understand better how to approach and understand those questions better, i found this very beneficial as exam season arrived. Gull was very good, he explained Econometrics very clearly and was patient. As I was at university, i could only do online sessions, and even through skype i managed to learn more in 4 econometrics sessions than all year at uni. Gull was very useful as he could tutor at pretty much any time whether it's 12pm or 1am. I needed help with macro too, and although not a speciality of Gull, he managed to adapt to the content very easily and teach me it well too.

Gull has been tutoring online throughout my university degree, from first year Microeconomics to final year Econometrics. His tutoring technique is outstanding, he is patient yet progressive and has helped me achieve the highest grades. I could not recommend Gull any more if you wish to fully understand the discipline of Economics.

Gull has helped my son to improve his maths before his GCSE. He is very patient, and takes time to explain different methods in ways that are easy to understand. He also showed my son quicker ways to solve problems.
As he has worked for the exam board marking papers, he was able to point out exactly where marks were being lost (not showing enough working out, in our case), which my son has taken on board. He has also helped out with chemistry revision.

Gull has been helping my son with his GCSE Maths for some weeks now. Not only is it absolutely apparent that Gull is extremely intelligent and knows his subject, but he has a real knack for imparting that knowledge to students. He never patronises, is unfailingly encouraging but neither does he give false hope or expectation. I have found it so useful to have him explain to my son not only 'how to do it' but also that practice is key (it doesn't have the same impact when your mother tells you that, apparently!). My son is always keen to get to his Maths tuition and never hesitates to complete the work Gull sets - and you really can't ask for much more than that.

Gull started of a little shaky with my daughters lessons, but once her needs were established, he structured the lessons to focus on weaker areas of learning providing Technics and encouragement for faster improvement. Mr Gull , was not what we expected, initially before we made contact we had told him the days and the time that my son
would be available because of the schedule we run
It was only after we made contact that he said that he cannot do those days and then tried to convince my son , by finding out his timetable and trying to work around this.
this was totally unacceptable
It was rather unfortunate that it did not work out ,my advise tutors should read what the students parents or guardian write because it saves time everybody has a particular need and we are all trying our best to work around our day to day lives.
Apart from that , i would still recommend this site, because i have been to others and most of the time i dont get a reply, you are sure to get reply here
