Hello, I'm the founder and lead tutor at GOE Enterprise (GOEE), the education department. My journey in education is deeply rooted in the transformative impact that personalised tutoring can have on a student's academic success. Let me share with you a powerful story that embodies the essence of what we do.

Meet Miss M, a determined 16-year-old who faced a challenging academic situation during her GCSEs in Kent. Struggling with Maths and Sciences, she found herself in a unique predicament, being the sole student in her set sitting the higher paper without a science teacher. Undeterred, she joined our program just six months before her exams, seeking that extra boost to secure a decent grade.

Together, we embarked on a journey to bridge the gaps in Miss M's understanding, and the result was nothing short of remarkable—Miss M not only passed her GCSE examinations but exceeded her initial goals.

Tutoring Experience

At GOEE, we understand the concerns parents may have about opting for private tuition. However, our experience has shown that collaboration with schools is often beneficial, with many institutions providing valuable insights into the areas where students need additional support. We believe in complementing the school system, not replacing it, and fostering an environment where students can thrive.

I firmly believe in the power of tutoring to instill confidence in struggling students, offering them a track record of success. It's not just about boosting grades; it's about nurturing a love for learning and providing a solid foundation for future academic pursuits.

I have over 16 years of experience tutoring, mentoring, coaching and supporting young people. I am trained and certified Highfield Level 3 Award in Education and Training. I am also a trained and certified mental health first aider (MHFAider®) RSPH Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid.

I understand the importance of safety both online and offline and that is why I have an enhanced DSB as well as up to level 4 Safeguarding.

My approach to teaching goes beyond conventional methods. I recognize the diverse needs of students, from those with special needs to those seeking work discipline. Whether it's fine-tuning exam techniques, boosting confidence, or addressing language barriers, I tailor my teaching style to meet individual requirements.

The tutoring landscape is evolving, and at GOEE, we embrace this change. We work with students aiming for grammar schools, guiding 11 plus aspirants and supporting A-level students in reaching their desired universities. Our commitment extends to creating a supportive, peer-pressure-free environment, where students can focus on their unique academic journey.

Choosing a tutor is a crucial decision, and I encourage parents to consider factors such as rapport, qualifications, and the ability to develop a connection with your child. At GOEE, we offer a reduced fee for the first session to ensure that our approach aligns with your expectations.

Our tutoring sessions are not just about academics; they are about building confidence, reducing examination stress, and unlocking potential. With subjects covering Maths, Sciences, and financial literacy for ages 5 to 16, our after-school tuition is designed for groups of seven students in the same year group. Alternatively, if you prefer private 1-to-1 sessions, simply mention it in your call form. Also, if you require group sessions in face to face, please also mention it during your consultation.
