Gladys

I graduated from the University of Southampton with a degree in Economics in 2014. I am a native English speaker from London. I have a passion for maths and english love to teach and spread understanding. I have experience in accounting and I am currently studying for the professional ACA (ICAEW) qualification - I have completed 14 out of 15 modules.

Tutoring Experience

During my last years at university I tutored Primary students in English and Maths. Since returning back to London after graduating I have also tutored a wide range of Primary school students in English and Maths. Additionally, at the end of 2017 I decided to take a career break/gap year and I recently just returned from Spain where I was teaching English as a foreign language to students aged 4-16 years old.

Tutoring Approach

I understand that every student has a different learning style and my aim is to tailor each tuition sessions to their specific needs. My aim is to ensure progression of students understanding in each session and thus make learning easier for the student. I also believe in making lessons fun, engaging and interactive to really help students learn effectively and efficiently.
