I am a qualified teacher working in East London where I have lived for most of my life. I am a musician whith a keen interest in photography and I still think physics is fun - even after 30 years of teaching!

Tutoring Experience

I have been a head of science, a senior leader and currently head of physics in a school in East London. I have worked in most types of schools including single sex boys and girls schools, grammar schools and independent as well as state schools. I have been teaching for nearly 30 years. I have also been an A Level Physics examiner for AQA and OCR.

Tutoring Approach

I am friendly and non-judgmental. I like to start with some diagnostic testing before building up to content knowledge. I like to use a mix of rigorous exam technique, multiple choice questioning, mix and match, gap fill, word games and many other techniques depending on the ability and learning preferences of the student.
