My son has been having private Maths lessons with George since Yr9 & has just received his GCSE results. Let me just say, my son didn’t like Maths at first & there was only so much his dad & I (both coming from Maths backgrounds) could try & explain & teach without frustration coming in at full throttle! So when I found George, he was a real blessing. My son, a boy who started off hating Maths & not really understanding it & just scraping a pass, after 2 1/2 years of personal tutoring (face2face at first, followed by video during lockdown), George worked with my son to increase his confidence in Maths & actually make him enjoy the subject has been a real turn in an amazing way. So, my son ended up with a grade 8! And now he is even thinking about studying Maths further at A level :) This naturally had a knock on effect on the Physics result…. Another 8!
