Teaching has always been my passion. I feel happy when I share my knowledge with others and I strongly believe that 'To teach is to learn twice!!!'. I'm confident and familiar with the National curriculum. I have also carried out classroom observations at Secondary schools to gain knowledge about teaching methodologies. DBS Checked.

Tutoring Experience

I have been carrying out private tutoring in Maths for more than 7 years, mainly focused on GCSE (Edexcel) and KS2 SATs. I am specialized in training students for GCSE Maths (Higher/Foundation, Regular/Retake candidates). The unprecedented pandemic has brought a shift away from the usual face-to-face lessons, however, it is still possible to reap the advantages that face-to-face tutoring would offer, through online tuition. Finally given it's chance, the concept of e-learning has seen an explosion of interest and is proving successful. Online tuition is convenient, time saving by cutting the need to commute, enhances concentrated learning and the list goes on. Tutoring Approach

My tutoring classes are online via Zoom and strictly 1:1. Nothing is more effective or efficient than being taught one-on-one to give my tutees the attention they deserve. Patience is the key for a tutor. Each child is different, hence, I use structured approach and support students by devising alternate strategies combined with weekly assignments in order to develop good exam techniques and positive attitude towards the exams. I am committed to inspire and motivate my tutees with my expertise in the subject. I help my tutees build confidence, self-esteem and the skills required to face exams without fear or anxiety by making lessons clear and fun. I take pride in helping the students achieve their full potential and soar ahead.
