Gabriella

I'm Gabriella a first class graduate in Geography and Statistics. I’m also currently completing a Masters at the University of Leeds. I am passionate about supporting young people to grow in confidence, especially in Geography, Maths and Science. As a keen sportswoman with a background in team sports like rugby and football, I bring energy, patience, and a positive mindset to everything I do.

Tutoring Experience

I achieved all 8/9s at GCSE, an A* in Geography and Biology A level, and an A in Maths A level. I’ve led group activities with children through volunteering at my local Rainbows unit and worked with learners of all abilities, from KS2 to GCSE, through school placements and tutoring. I also have experience creating fun, engaging environments through family events such as easter egg hunts and christmas biscuit decorating during my time at Waitrose.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are calm, engaging, and tailored to each student. I break down complex topics with clear explanations and real-life examples, using active questioning to check understanding and build confidence. Sessions typically last an hour, but I adapt to the learner’s needs. Whether they’re catching up or aiming high, I’m all about helping students feel capable, supported, and ready to succeed.
