I graduated from the University of Manchester with a masters in physics (Mphys) in 2018. I have a passion for teaching maths and science. My goal is to make learning an enjoyable and rewarding experience for you, and I pride myself in dedicating myself to unlocking a student's potential.

Tutoring Experience

I have a of year of experience as a private tutor in maths and physics at both GCSE and A-level. I have also worked as a maths and physics content creator, writing and creating videos for an educational website. This has equipped me with an in-depth knowledge of the content in major UK exam boards. I also worked in a secondary school as a teaching assistant/learning support mentor for a year.

Tutoring Approach

I like to tailor my tutoring to the specific student I am teaching by finding out their strengths and weaknesses. I change the pace and style of my teaching in order to keep the student engaged and make the experience an enjoyable one. I like to focus on example problems and give model solutions. I recognize that often my purpose as a tutor is to help students pass their exams, so I put an emphasis on the importance of practicing past paper questions and teaching the students how to give the answers that the exam board are looking for. However, I'm open to tutoring anyone who has an interest in maths and physics!
