Outside of work, I love taking peaceful walks with my dog and cherishing quality time with my family. These simple moments help keep me grounded and remind me of the joy in everyday connections.

Tutoring Experience

With over 12 years of experience as a dedicated Special Needs Teacher, I have worked across both mainstream and special school settings, supporting students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. My passion lies in helping every student reach their full potential, regardless of their starting point.
I take great pride in fostering independence and confidence in my learners, especially by equipping them with practical skills that enhance their future work prospects. Watching students grow into independent, motivated individuals is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.

My teaching style is centred around understanding how each student learns best and tailoring my approach to build on their individual strengths. I believe that every learner is unique, and by creating a supportive, flexible environment, I can help them thrive.
Collaboration with families is a key part of my practice—I value their insight and believe that working together helps create the most effective and personalised learning experience. Families know their child best, and their input is essential in guiding progress.
I enjoy using technology as a tool to make learning fun, interactive, and engaging. Whether it’s through creative platforms or hands-on digital activities, tech helps me capture students' interest and keep them motivated.
Above all, I aim to boost students' self-confidence in their own abilities. Seeing a student believe in themselves, take ownership of their learning, and feel proud of what they can achieve is what drives me every day.
