Hello! My name is Anne and I am a qualified teacher available for tutoring. I’m reliable, professional and always enjoy helping my students achieve their personal goals. Currently I work as a full time teacher in a leading school in Wandsworth and I am the leader for learning in maths. I have six years’ experience as a class teacher and am qualified to teach children from ages 4-11. I have a maths specialism accreditation so  specialise in Wandsworth tests as well as an early number sense programme to ensure children have a deep understanding of number in order to successfully engage in the curriculum. I would ensure each session is tailored to individual needs and goals to support each pupil.  
 
I am also qualified and happy to teach other areas of the curriculum such as phonics, reading and writing. I am DBS approved.

Tutoring Experience

Each session will be tailored to the pupil’s individual needs. It’s important for me to understand each pupils gaps in knowledge so that I can support them to achieve and be successful. I will guide the children by supporting them to learn with key questions rather than ‘rote learning’ key facts so they have a deep understanding of the mathematical structure they are learning. I believe all children should enjoy learning so encourage all questions children may so they they build confidence in their knowledge.

I have taught a variety of different pupils so I have the confidence to support all pupils with their varying needs I believe all pupils have the capabilities to be successful and enjoy supporting them on their learning journey.
