Patient, professional and effective Maths Tutor. 20 years experience as a qualified teacher with specialism in GCSE, A-Level and the IB. I have taught at Felsted Boarding School, Colchester Sixth Form College and most recently at St Mary’s school for girls. I am an expert in raising students engagement in maths and encouraging their further study in this wonderful subject. I would love to hear from you if your son or daughter would like to aim for a top grade (grade 7 and above) in their GCSE exam and is in year 10 or 11. My fee includes marking a weekly homework assignment which I set my students each week as it’s a vital component of measuring progress to see if the student is able to answer questions independently after the tuition lesson has taken place.

Tutoring Experience

I have 20 years of teaching experience and have previously taught at the Outstanding Felsted Boarding School in Essex and also taught for many years at The Sixth Form College in the historic town of Colchester, Essex. In the last 4 years of my teaching career, I taught at the highly regarded St Mary’s School for girls. I have a vast amount of experience at teaching GCSE, AS and A-Level and also the International Baccalaureate. I have been an examiner for the IB and also Edexcel so I have an excellent understanding of mark-schemes, examiners reports, and how students can maximise the number of marks they obtain in each exam.
