I am a qualified Teacher of science with a BSc in Biological Science (Microbiology) an MSc in Clinical Microbiology and also a graduate diploma in Spanish Language. I am very passionate and enthusiastic teacher who uses knowledge of science to assist leaners in their academic development. Tuition via Zoom and 11+ exam preparation are offered.

Tutoring Experience

I have many years of experience as Teacher of Science GCSE (Physics, Chemistry & Biology)/ AS & A Level Biology and also experience of tutoring Spanish and foundation degree level in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
I am pleased to say that 97% of my students achieved their predicted grade or above in my GCSE and A level classes.

Tutoring Approach

Relaxed, providing an environment conducive to learning and engaging. I take a holistic approach, trying to play to the strengths of the child in order to encourage them to work on their areas of weakness. I provide resources and feedback, with specific areas for improvement identified with strategies on how to tackle challenges.
