I am an English Lecturer, who also specialises in GCSE Maths and ICT/Essential Digital Skills. I have a Post Graduation Certificate in Professional Studies in Education, a degree in English Language and Literature, Cert TESOL and MA in Education in situ.

Tutoring Experience

Over 10 years experience of delivering lectures and tuition to primary, secondary and tertiary education. King Edward schools/Nine Stiles entrance exam tuition, and those studying towards their GCSE's English and Maths.
Predominantly, most of my learners are from Olton, Solihull, South Yardley and Acocks Green. I deliver both online and face to face lessons.

What you can expect:
Your lessons with me will take a look at current and historic articles to identify and fragment grammatical knowledge and disperse this onto professional documents, including challenging idealism’s relating to your research topic. Support includes professional writing, assignments proof reading and consultations.
As a college or secondary student, we will apply the same knowledge and look at distinct language formulation and apply this to the audience, all the whole developing your writing style. We all cover all areas of English grammar and punctuality and use poetry, prose, and turn of the century novels in depth.

What you will take away from your lessons:
Student autonomy is important, and I ensure learners not only gain an understanding of the task, but students leave the session more empowered.
As a student, you will be given tasks to explore and engage in, with in-depth feedback. You will also come away from the session with ingrained methodology and simplicity of knowledge retention.

My expectations on you:
To listen to constructive feedback and work on this, to help you build better assignments.
Attending lessons on time, completing homework and engaging in all activities, especially independent study at home, to embed the learning.

Tutoring Approach

Interactive sessions allow thought process and cognitive recompense, all which allows knowledge retention and eventual learner independence and success on the courses, employment and beyond.
