I'm a qualified secondary maths teacher with a masters degree in geophysics. I'm very passionate about the subject and easy going with a strong drive which I impact on my pupils. I'm organise, focused and determined on achieving desired goals set irrespective of the challenges that may arise.
I have about 15 years teaching experience. Currently responsible for ALL of the higher set year 11 pupils to ensure they attain their aspirational end of KS4 targets. As a result of my outstanding practice, I'm also a member of the teaching and leaning team at my school training other staff members with the aim to deliver and become outstanding in their own individual practice.
Personalised intervention to meet individual needs. My teaching style also aim to allow pupils become more independent by providing the support necessary to access the content taught. Use different resources including interactive online resources to make learning fun. Pupils are assessed using exam based topic papers which gives them the opportunity to develop exam skills and techniques. In addition, weekly homework on topic taught is set for consolidation.
